## Remembrance Day – День пам’яті

**📅 Saturday, November 7, 2026 – 3:00 PM** **📍 St. Demetrius Catholic School Grounds, 125 La Rose Avenue, Etobicoke, Ontario**

Each November, Canadians pause to remember the men and women who served in Canada’s armed forces and those who never came home. Ukrainian Canadians have stood with Canada in every generation, and this year we also hold in our hearts the defenders of Ukraine who have given their lives since 2014.

Join the Ukrainian Canadian community on the grounds of St. Demetrius Catholic School to honour those who served and gave their lives for Canada and for Ukraine.

*Entrance from either La Rose Avenue or Richview Road. If it rains, the ceremony will move inside **St. Demetrius Church**.*

## Program

- Memorial service and *Panakhyda*
- Church choir with the regimental band and bugles
- *Last Post*
- Wreath laying

## Organized By

**Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Toronto Branch**

With the support of the **Shevchenko Foundation** and the **Association of Ukrainian Canadian Veterans**.

Wear a poppy, and on Wednesday, November 11, pause at 11 a.m. for two minutes of silence wherever you are.

Lest we forget.
